I bet you finally got in great shape; you are looking forward to your dream vacation, and packing a suitcase in your mind. Wait! What about a swimsuit? Still don’t have one for this summer season? No need to worry. This year, Victoria’s Secret Angels is upping the swimsuit ante and will inspire you to choose the trendy items for the season to look fantastic at the beach. So, forget about the idea of taking one of your old swimsuits with you and steal some of these Victoria’s Secret Swim Special trends!

1. Color-Block Neoprene. This stylish bikini is available in many different color combinations so you won’t have a hard time looking for your favorite shade. There are a few options for this model: a strapless top, a top with removable straps, a top with a zipper, a swimsuit with different kinds of elasticity (strong, medium, low).

2. Mesh. This interesting element makes any bikini look sporty and elegant at the same time. Sheer mesh, special pads and straps will provide the perfect balance. Well-designed peek-a-boo sides on the bottom deliver a cheeky image. If you want to achieve a retro look, try on a high-waist bikini. The black color works just best with this kind of swimsuit. But you can try on different light colors to emphasize your perfectly tanned body.

3. Prints. Yes, we all love printed clothing. And, finally, printed bikinis are officially in trend now! Don’t be afraid to choose the most playful and bright patterns. Floral, geometric, graffiti or psychedelic – a huge number of styles are available this season.

4. Midi Beach Bandeau. This must-have model will give you an extremely original beach look. The mini-details like crisscross straps on the front and straight straps on the sides make the top super eye-catching. Bra pads deliver great comfort and support. Choose from a large variety of bottoms that fit this top and grab all the attention on the beach.

5. Boho Fringe. Not really new but super trendy western-inspired bikini style that is worth adding to your look-book or wardrobe. This item has no straps but it supports breasts perfectly with the help of side boning. Pick a fringe bottom that fits your top and shake it up on the beach!

6. What about one-piece swimsuits? If you’re a fan of these, there are a few ideas you can borrow from Victoria’s Secret Swim Special. For those girls, who like really unique style clothing, Fringe Monokini will be the answer. You can choose a stylish macramé decorated monokini with bra pads if necessary, and rock the beach!

7. Crossover Halter One-piece swimsuit. For the girls who want to shape and smooth their curves, we recommend this one. Molded push-up padding provides the best support and attractive look. With this luxurious looking piece you will feel super confident and stylish at the same time.

8. In conclusion, it’s very important to remember that we shouldn’t try to save on clothing, especially on swimsuits. You want to have fun and relax on the beach, right? Make sure the swimsuit you’ve chosen isn’t too big or small and looks perfect on you. Now grab your friends and go shopping!

1. You complete yourself.

You don’t need someone else to feel complete, because you are the only person that can truly make yourself feel whole. While cheesy, it’s the most important love lesson Cheryl Strayed teaches.

2. Never give up.

Because when you get to the finish line, it’s the best feeling in the world.

3. The right size boots are everything.

Seriously though, before you hike make sure you have the right size boots, because toenails are super important.

4. Trust your instincts.

Especially when it comes to people, it’s okay to trust people, but also keep your guard up a little bit because your gut is normally right.

5. Be rich in love.

Cheryl grew up in poverty, but her mother used to say that they were “rich in love” which is all you need. That and a large pizza.

6. You never know when you’ll need condoms.

Okay, so you don’t need a whole roll when you’re hiking the PCT, but keeping one is a good omen.

7. Always be in the driver’s seat of your life.

Cheryl Strayed’s mom Bobbi learned that lesson the hard way. She was someones wife, someones mom, but she regretted never being in control of her own life.

8. Find your best self.

Whether you have to hike 1,200 miles or write a novel or whatever it is you need, find it. Stop regretting things in the past because it got you to where you are now.

9. Sometimes the one you love isn’t the one.

Cheryl and her ex remain close throughout the movie. Even though they were in love when they split, they recognized they shouldn’t be together.

10. Life is an adventure.

Be spontaneous and wild and keep going no matter how shitty things get. Wallowing will get you no where, and if necessary leave that shitty life behind and find something better.

Everything you need to know about a comeback story can be found in ‘Birdman.’

Hot off his Golden Globe win (and super touching speech about his foxy son!), Michael Keaton is a front-runner to win the Best Actor Oscar at this year’s Academy Awards for Birdman.

In this movie, Keaton plays Riggan, a faded Hollywood actor famous for his portrayal of a superhero. With a desire to be talked about and adored once again, Riggan hopes to reinvent himself as he writes, directs and stars in a Broadway adaptation of a story written by Raymond Carver.

The film, which garnered nine (!) Academy Award nominations including Best Director for Alejandro G. Iñaárritu, is a stunning visual masterpiece. As if it’s one continuous long-take, Birdman is a beautifully dark comeback story. Here’s what we learned from it.

1. You are truly your own worst critic.

Riggan is haunted by a voice—the voice of Birdman in his own head. It tells the truth, but it can also be misleading. And though he finds comfort in this voice, he gives it too much power. This inner critic is ultimately what makes and breaks Riggan.

2. Go with the flow.

Life is constantly moving forward, which means you will never stay in the same place for too long. Sometimes you’re up, sometimes you’re down. For Riggan, he was at the top of his game when he was playing Birdman. After he moved on from the role, he lost his popularity—and his ego took a major hit. But rather than find happiness and comfort in a quieter, more fulfilling life, he wanted to get those glory days of success back.

3. People live for applause.

And we’ll do anything to get adulation. It’s almost like a drug. We’ll sell-out. We’ll compromise our morals or ethics to get it. We’ll do almost anything to hear the words “You nailed it!” In fact, Riggan literally blows off his nose to get rave reviews in the play!

4. You’re not invisible.

When they get into a fight, Sam (Riggan’s daughter played by Emma Stone—also nominated!) tells her dad that he doesn’t matter. She’s hurt that they don’t have much of a relationship. Through her own personal heartache, she wants to inflict pain on her father by telling him what she knows will bruise his ego.

5. Things aren’t always as they appear.

A note taped to Riggan’s dressing room mirror says, “A thing is a thing, not what is said of that thing.” You are who you are. You are not what people say about you. As much as we want to not care about our own reviews, it’s still human nature to care. It’s just a matter of not give it too much power.

6. Love and admiration are not the same.

You can love without admiring, and you can admire without loving. Riggan’s ex-wife explains this difference to him, as he’s so focused on his career and the admiration of his fans that he’s ignoring the love of his daughter, the only critic that really matters.

7. Everyone loves a comeback story.

It’s empowering. It’s heroic. It’s the story of ultimate success. And we’re so happy to see Michael Keaton’s comeback. Why did we even let him fade away? He’s the best.

Office parties are sometimes fun, but mostly awkward. This is one of the few times each year where your coworkers are hopped up on sugar, feeling jolly, and quite possibly intoxicated all at once. People will over-share. They might make out with other staffers. They will definitely eat too much. And there are bound to be some uncomfortable gift exchanges for Secret Santa. But no matter how bad you think your office parties are, they are nothing compared to the chaos and the drama that went down in December at the Dunder Mifflin office in Scranton, PA. Here is a gif-tastic look back at why Dunder Mifflin always had such horrible, no good, very bad holiday parties.

1. The Fear of Getting Pranked Was Very Real

Whether Jim was creating gift-wrapped versions of Dwight’s desk and chair or Dwight was terrorizing Jim with menacing snowmen, these hilarious pranks always went one step (or five) too far and everyone else just tried to stay out of their way.

2. When Michael Suffered, Everyone Suffered

The man tried to cancel a holiday after being dumped by his girlfriend. Another time, he spent too much on a Secret Santa gift and forced everyone else to get something they didn’t want because he ended up with a homemade oven mitt. Then there was that time he was pissed about Phyllis dressing as Santa so he dressed up as God and ruined the punch with his fake beard. Yes, he was a lovable giant baby, but a giant baby nonetheless.

3. Secret Santa Gifts Were…… Not Great

Especially if Creed pulled your name out of the hat. Unless an old ill-fitting shirt is on your Christmas list, of course.

4. The Dunder Mifflin Employees Drank A LOT

Oh, Meredith.

Oh, Daryl.

5. And That Would Often Lead to Other Drama

Ah, the forced intervention. What a great way to ring in the holidays. Or when Todd Packer would show up and spit out a series of terribly sexist jokes. Or when Michael brought two waitresses back to the party and couldn’t tell them apart

6. Angela Was Usually in Charge

Which was always a bummer because she was the absolute worst at having fun.

7. Sometimes There Were Party Wars

As if there wasn’t enough drama at one Dunder Mifflin soiree.

8. And Karaoke

Some people love it, but I can’t listen to a second of it without cringing in embarrassment for them.

9. There Were Some Happy Endings

Lots of Jim and Pam “Aww”s.

10. But Mostly, These Christmas Parties Were Just Weird

I guess that’s what office holiday parties are all about though, right? Gettin’ weird with your coworkers?

Relive the madness of these messy holiday parties at Dunder Mifflin by streaming episodes on Netflix.

Merry Christmas!

Flowers and candy are always welcome, but the truly memorable gifts are thoughtful ones. This week, one Redditor asked women what the most romantic gifts they have ever received were. Your heart is going to melt into a puddle on the floor when you read just how creative some people are. These significant others were really paying attention! Check out our favorite stories below.
A Gourmet Dinner

“One year we couldn’t spend my birthday together, so he sent me a care package. Inside was an instruction booklet titled ‘Romantic Birthday Dinner’ and beneath it were all the “ingredients” so I could cook it myself. Ingredients: Bread, Jelly, Peanut Butter. The killer for me was the ‘instruction manual’ – it was overly detailed and technical (he used the world ’emulsification’ like twice) with step-by-step picture guides. I was laughing so hard I was in tears. He literally bought me a PBJ for my birthday and it’s the best gift I’ve ever gotten.”
Light Up the Night

“My husband and I were at a friend’s destination wedding in the mountains a few years ago, and we got into an argument after the rehearsal dinner. Seeing as I was the maid of honor with a wedding to control the next day, and it was like 1 am, I left him outside to smoke a cigar and went to bed. Next thing I know at 3 am and he’s in my ear telling me to look up. I roll over, the room is pitch black save for the dozens of fireflies. He knew I’d never seen them before, so he spent 2 hours in the dark catching them by hand, then released them in our room at the cabin. Next to our wedding, that was the best night of my life.”
Space in His Heart

“For Christmas, my son gave his girlfriend (now fiancé) a reserved parking space in the city. (He leases the space in the alley of a homeowner.) She works crazy hours as a med student on rotations and would come home late at night exhausted, then have to drive for 30 minutes to find parking. Now she is grateful to him every day when she parks her car and has a safe, short walk to her apartment.”
Sci-Fi Story Time

“My boyfriend and I are both sci-fi nerds. He has dyslexia, and does not read well. I have over 300 books and love to read. So he gets me Sci-fi books and we snuggle as I read them to him. It’s super nerdy but it fits us. The best gifts are tailored to activities both of you enjoy. They bring you closer to each other, and can be enjoyed over and over again.”
A Package of Care

“I was going on a girls trip to Thailand and was really busy beforehand. He bought me a vacation package full of sunscreen for my face and body, aloe vera, SPF lip gloss, a book to read on the beach, travel size toiletries, travel converter, gum, flip flops, bug spray, and some small first aid things. All small and cheap things but he put the effort to think about things I would need and I thought it was very sweet and thoughtful of him!”
Thinking Inside the Box

“Last year my now husband and I were visiting his sister in Vermont, and walking thru a wood shop in Vermont where a man was selling his hand-carved items, and there was an absolutely gorgeous wooden jewelry box. All ornate compartments and scrolls… just beautiful. I saw the price tag and sighed. It was well worth the price but out of our budget. We went back home to Massachusetts and on our anniversary my husband gave me the jewelry box. I was so surprised! He had seen my expression when I looked at it, even though I never said a word. He arranged to pay for it and his sister picked it up for him, and he drove back to Vermont to get it without my knowing.”
Cheers to Love

“A crate of one of my favorite beers, which I’d told him had been discontinued. He was very proud of himself for finding it, and I had to explain that it had only been discontinued on tap. But I was still very happy with 24 bottles of it.”
Draw It Out

“We were in high school so he didn’t have much money. He commissioned an artsy classmate to illustrate a comic. I’m sure he didn’t pay her much, but she was happy to make some cash doing something she liked to do, and they sat down together and came up with a great story. It was an adventure tale about my beloved cat and I. I loved it and years later, I still have it and think fondly of him for thinking of such a creative gift!”
Where It Started

“He made me a keychain with the exact coordinates of where he proposed to me. It is stamped metal, and even though it’s a bit rough and slightly unfinished looking, it is one of my most charming treasured possessions.”
Staying Positive

“I used to battle with depression a lot. One Christmas I got a jar filled with little notes from my boyfriend at the time. All notes said things like ‘You’re beautiful’, ‘I’m so glad I met you’, ‘You’re my everything’ and things like that. It was one of the sweetest things I’ve ever gotten.”
Play on Repeat

“For my birthday, my boyfriend got each of my friends to record a video birthday message using their webcams, and edited all of them together into a compilation. This even included our friends who moved away to live in far-flung places around the world, so it way really amazing. He ended with a video clip of his own birthday wishes (we’re in a long-distance relationship). As soon as I realized what it was, I cried. It cost him nothing, but it is by far my most treasured gift.”
Best-Kept Memories

“My boyfriend kept all of our tickets and maps and receipts from our euro trip and made me a scrapbook with our pictures and all of the things we had collected along the way. I cried. Twice.”
Sweet Sipping

“He bought a plain white mug, then painted it with me. He even painted his bottom lip red and pressed it onto the cup so that whenever I have a sip of coffee, it’s like I’m giving him kisses.”
A Night of Adventure

“I’m from the St. Louis area and we don’t have The Rainforest Cafe there. It was always someplace I dreamed of going as a kid, but my parents were always like, “we’re not paying to eat overpriced chicken nuggets in the dark with animatronic animals.” Whatever. Fast-forward to when I’m an adult and dating this guy for 2+ years. We’re in Chicago for my birthday and he surprises me by taking me to the Rainforest Cafe to fulfill my childhood dream. When we sit down, he pulls out two safari hats, puts one on his head and hands the other to me. Then he pulls out a stuffed elephant shrew, which is one of my favorite animals. I’m holding the elephant shrew, still in shock, and my stoic, no-nonsense engineer boyfriend is sitting nonchalantly across from me wearing a safari hat. No idea where he found a stuffed elephant shrew. The whole thing was such a sweet, goofy gesture, especially for him. I teared up.”
Something to Cuddle

“When I was 17, my 19 year old boyfriend made me a teddy bear. It was the ugliest damn teddy in the world, but the fact that this tough silent guy made it was amazing.”

Anticipation has been building for the next film in the Hunger Games trilogy, The Hunger Games: Mockingjay — Part 1, to hit the big screen — and it’s almost here! One of the most intriguing elements of the books and movies is the love triangle between Katniss, Gale, and Peeta, a theme throughout the three books in Suzanne Collins’s series. Without giving too much away, readers (and even the characters) aren’t always sure if the romantic moments between Peeta and Katniss are “real or not real,” but we can’t help but fall for the pair of star-crossed lovers. And many fans are divided on if Peeta or Gale makes a better fit for the heroine. Check out some of our favorite love quotes (possible spoilers ahead) from the Hunger Games books!

“I can feel Peeta press his forehead into my temple and he asks, ‘So now that you’ve got me, what are you going to do with me?’ I turn into him. ‘Put you somewhere you can’t get hurt.'”

“And while I was talking, the idea of actually losing Peeta hit me again and I realized how much I don’t want him to die. And it’s not about the sponsors. And it’s not about what will happen when we get home. And it’s not just that I don’t want to be alone. It’s him. I do not want to lose the boy with the bread.”

“This is the first kiss that we’re both fully aware of. Neither of us hobbled by sickness or pain or simply unconscious. Our lips neither burning with fever or icy cold. This is the first kiss where I actually feel stirring inside my chest. Warm and curious. This is the first kiss that makes me want another.”

“I take his hand, holding on tightly, preparing for the cameras, and dreading the moment when I will finally have to let go.”

“And then he gives me a smile that just seems so genuinely sweet with just the right touch of shyness that unexpected warmth rushes through me.”

“Gale who I have never seen cry has tears in his eyes. To keep them from spilling over. I reach forward and press my lips against his. We taste of heat, ashes and misery.”

Gale

“I don’t stand a chance if he doesn’t get better. You’ll never be able to let him go. You’ll always feel wrong about being with me.”

“‘The way I always felt wrong kissing him because of you,'” I say. Gale holds my gaze. ‘If I thought that was true, I could almost live with the rest of it.'”

“I don’t try to move away. Why should I anyway? His voice drops to a whisper. ‘I love you.’ That’s why.”

“Katniss will pick whoever she thinks she can’t survive without.”

It’s beautiful when I first look at these pink roses, but it is made from egg box. Unbelievable creative!! Tutorial from Rosi Jo.

So you need one spare egg box, the one made of hard paper not plastic, some acrylic paint of your choice (this tutorial use fuchsia pink and white), glue and paint brush.
Cut out the raised part of the egg box that will be our flower, then trim it like petal. This part is the base later we’ll add more petal inside.

Once you’re satisfied with the shape put them together. And they are ready to be colored.

You want your flower to look real so paint them in gradient color enhance the inner petal then lighter on the outside.

Once the paint is dry shape them together give some retouch of color if needed.

Add more petal to reach a fuller body.

Then you have your rose!

And Lady Gaga took the festive season as her inspiration as she left the Jingle Bell Ball at London’s O2 arena wearing a real Christmas tree.
The Born This Way singer made her way to the Langham Hotel in London with a pine tree decorated with baubles and a star as a hat.
