This previously longhaired handsome rebel has an ability to control fashion directions, following and changing them all at once. Slight Break/Rip

Broken nails might not be a big deal in the grand scheme of things, but occasionally it can be really upsetting. Especially if your nails grow really slowly or one of them breaks right before a big event. Don’t despair, ladies! There’s a very easy fix for this problem – nail glue. Yup, it’s not just for attaching fake nails, you can fix your own nails with it too. Just dab a tiny amount of it on the area where you have a rip in your nail and hold it together for a minute. Voila, your nail is good as new! However, this works only for those times when your nail hasn’t broken off completely. If it did, I’m sorry, but just clip the rest of them and rock short nails. It’s better than walking around like a dork with one short nail.

Smudges

I’m not talking about those times you were just impatient and decided to reach into your pocket or handbag before your nails dried properly. I’m talking about those times you’ve waited for a long time and then tried to be careful all day but it still smudged. I’ve had cases where I went a whole day with perfectly polished nails, but when I woke up the next day they had smudges and indents in them. If that happened to you it means you’re piling on thick layers of nail polish. Happens to the best of us. Just make sure you do thin layers next time. If you’re doing 2 coats, make sure you wait in between coats so the first one can dry completely. If your nail polish comes out goopy and thick just throw it out, it means it’s old and expired

Peeling/chipping

Don’t you hate it when you’ve had your nails done and they’re all pretty and perfect and then in 3 days the small white line starts creeping in? That thin line where the nail polish chipped or peeled at the tip of your nail can be prevented. Just put on a thin layer of quick drying topcoat every other day and it should prolong the life of your manicure. If it chipped a little or that line crept up on you unexpectedly, just clip your nails a tiny bit and use a thin layer of topcoat and your nails will look perfect again.

Bumps and Bubbles

If your nail polish doesn’t go on smoothly try cleaning your nails with some rubbing alcohol or nail polish remover beforehand. In most cases there’s either natural oils or residue of hand creams on your nails and that’s preventing your nail polish from adhering to your nails properly. If you think that it’s your nail that’s uneven, you can lightly buff the whole nail, then clean it with rubbing alcohol or nail polish remover and apply a base coat.

Stained Nails

However, if you forgot to use a base coat and now your nails are stained – here’s a few solutions for you. First try soaking your nails in nail polish remover. To do this take a few cotton balls, moisten them with a lot of nail polish remover and keep them on your nails for a few minutes. That should help get rid of most of the nail polish residue. If that doesn’t help – rub lemon juice on your nails for the next 10 days. That should help. I know 10 days is a lot, but trust me, it’s better than just waiting until your whole nail grows out, that takes months.

Dull Nail Polish

If you bought a nail polish and the color doesn’t show up as bright as it is in the bottle – we have a solution for you. You don’t need to use dozens of layers, 2 usually do the trick. To really make a nail polish color pop use a white nail polish as the base. It’ll give your colored nail polish a white canvas to work with and therefore will make the colors brighter, more vibrant and more pigmented.

Drying Takes Forever

If you’re impatient and can’t wait 10 minutes for the nail polish to dry there’s a solution that will cut that time in half. It involves a bowl with cold water and ice. Basically, once you’ve painted your nails submerge them into a bowl of ice water for 5 minutes. It might not seem like a long time, but in 5 minutes you’ll feel like your fingers are freezing. However, it does work, your nail polish hardens faster in ice cold water. If you’re willing to freeze a bit to save time – this tip is for you.

They met a long time ago, back in 2000 and it’s unclear when they started dating. Some say there was a spark from the moment they met, some say it started later on. We’ll never know for sure, as they’ve managed to keep their personal life quite private for a very long time. It’s admirable and almost unbelievable how they managed to do that, when you take into consideration that they’re both extremely successful and famous and are always followed by paparazzi. Recently there have been rumors that there’s trouble in paradise and they might get divorced, but that’s just rumors. If you look at Beyonce’s instagram you’ll see that they’re very happy together. Either way, we applaud their relationship and wish them all the best. Beyonce and Jay Z are one of the most inspirational celebrity couples.

Jim Parsons and Todd Spiewak

Jim Parsons, a successful actor we know best as Sheldon from the Big Bang Theory, and Todd Spiewak, an art director, have been together for over a decade. Neither of them have ever been overly public about their relationship, but it was never a secret either. In fact, the couple doesn’t feel like it’s something they should talk about or publicise, which is understandable. It was a great surprise for them when they received and Inspiration Award from the LGBT youth support network back in 2013. Kate and William’s relationship is like a modern day fairy tale. They met when they were students at St. Andrew’s University and that’s where their fairytale starts. Secret at first, it became public in 2004, after they went to a ski resort together and the media got a whiff of a budding relationship. Kate, born in Berkshire, daughter to Carole and Michael, a couple of flight attendants. William, a prince, heir to the throne of Britain. How did this girl manage to capture the heart of the royal? We’ll never know for sure. But there’s definitely something special about Kate. They’ve dated for a long time before becoming engaged. During that time they’ve shared a house with 2 of their friends (can you imagine? A prince, having roommates.) They’ve had their troubles too, in 2007 they briefly split up, but then got back together. The whole world was fascinated with their relationship. They finally got engaged on the 16th of November 2010 and married on the 29the of April 2011. Their wedding was magical and has been compared to a wedding  from the Cinderella fairy tale. They have a son, George, and are awaiting the arrival of their second child, the sex of which is a mystery as of yet and is a topic of great interest for everyone.

Neil Patrick Harris and David Burtka

These two are perfect role models for the LGBT community. Not only are the two gorgeous, talented people, but their love story is so sweet it’s difficult not to like them. In one of his interviews Neil Patrick Harris admitted he was the first one to say “I love you”. He said that it was a bit awkward not hearing it back immediately but he appreciated his partner’s honesty. However, David was the first to propose and he did it in a very sweet romantic way. The couple was on the way to an event, but David insisted they had to make a stop, it seemed really random at the time, but it was actually very special. He proposed to Neil on the same street corner that they met. He stood on one knee, got the ring out and asked Neil “Will you marry me”. Neil was stunned and of course he said yes. And about a year after that Neil decided to propose to David on Valentine’s Day. The couple got married in 2014 in Italy, after 10 years of being together. It’s almost funny how many similarities they share. Not only do they have similar interest, they also have the same shoe size, height, weight and basically the same body size. They often joke that they share a wardrobe. They also have 2 beautiful kids, a boy and a girl: Gideon Scott and Harper Grace. The kids call their parents Daddy (David) and Papa (Neil). This family is one of the most inspirational families in Hollywood, and they’re very adorable too. Salvador Dali – the famous Spanish surrealist and Gala – his Russian born wife were a subject of a lot of discussions in their days.  Apparently Gala captured his heart so much he called her his primary muse. He painted her throughout his life and supposedly lost his will to live after she passed away. Despite their great romance Dali’s family weren’t happy about their relationship and threatened to disown Salvador because of this. Gala was 36 when she met Dali, who was 25 at the time. She was married to a famous poet Paul Eluard at the time, but left him for Dali. At the start of their relationship she realized how talented Salvador was and spent all her time and effort to promote him. She’s said to have visited all the possible art galleries to show them Dali’s paintings and in the end she succeeded in making him a world renowned famous artist. Many believe that she was a witch, as she wasn’t exceptionally beautiful, but managed to capture everyone’s attention thanks to her charm. Their relationship lasted for 50 years before she passed away at the age of 88.

Ellen and Portia DeGeneres

Ellen and Portia are a beautiful and wonderful couple. The Australian actress/model and the American comedian are a great match. They seem to compliment each other in every way and have a lot in common .They’re both very involved in the LGBTQ movement. Both Ellen and Portia love animals. Together they have three dogs and four cats. Both Ellen and Portia are vegan. They also have a passion for renovating houses, so they buy one, renovate it, live in it for a bit and then sell it and move on. There have been a lot of rumors about all kinds of infidelity but they all turned out to be false. Ellen is always happy to shed light onto the rumors and use them to make jokes on her show. The couple is very public about their problems when they have one, and if there was any serious trouble we’d hear it from them first.

Juan and Evita Peron were one of the most adored couples in the 40’s. They were probably the ultimate power couple. Eva Peron was born in a village in Argentina and was the youngest of 5 children in her family. At the young age of 15 she decided to move to Buenos Aires to become an actress. After 10 years of living in Buenos Aires and working on her career, she met Juan and managed to charm him so much that they got married just a year after that. They managed to change the political atmosphere of Argentina at the time and became the most beloved political couple in the country. Evita was an incredible woman, who did a lot for Argentina. She fought for women’s rights, and eventually, thanks to her, women of Argentina got the right to vote. She was loved by working classes and devoted a lot of her time to charity. The couple was so beloved and famous that there’s multiple number of movies about them and even a world renowned musical by Andrew Lloyd Webber. The musical is called Evita and it tells the story of her life, her struggle, her love, her rise to power. This musical toured the world depicting the story of Evita and Juan Peron through multiple casts and languages. In 1996 this musical was made into a film starring Madonna and Antonio Banderas.

Victoria and David Beckham

The famous footballer and Posh Spice have been married for 16 years and couldn’t be happier about it. On their 15th wedding anniversary Victoria posted a picture on her instagram with a caption “15 beautiful years. We feel so blessed and thank you all for your love and support over the years. Such a special day for us all.” That really sums up their relationship. They’ve always been there for each other, and they’re clearly very much in love even after all this time. They’ve got 4 kids, for god’s sake, if that’s not a sign of love, I don’t know what is. They express their love for each other in everything they do. We all chuckle when we see them wearing matching outfits, and sporting matching watches or very similar styles. The know it’s a bit tacky, but it makes them laugh. There’s two versions of how their relationship began. One is that they met at an art gallery exhibition held by Yoko, another is that Yoko was gathering materials for a book and asked Paul McCartney for info but he refused and said that Lennon might help her out. They started corresponding and calling each other while Lennon was still married. Once Lennon’s wife left for a holiday and Lennon invited Yoko Ono for a visit. They recorded the “Two Virgins” album at night and made love at dawn. Apparently when his wife came back and found Yoko in her house, all John could say was “Oh, hi.” Since then they’ve been inseparable. They often took part in protests and organized them. They’ve arranged the famous Bed-ins for Peace. Eventually, the Beatles broke up, and everyone blamed Yoko for this. The pair moved to America and lived there together for a while. There have been multiple documentaries and movies exploring this extraordinary relationship. They actually met at a New Year’s party, just like it is in the movie “The theory of everything” but their relationship didn’t start right away.  Stephen was a very eccentric young man and that’s what drew Jane’s attention to him. She found out about his disease during the course of their relationship and still married him. The fact that the doctor said he only had two or three years to live didn’t bother her. Their motto was to make the most out of what they have. As Stephen’s disease progressed Jane had to take care of him. She did her best, even though it was clear that Stephen’s family didn’t like her. So much so, that they actually blatantly asked her who was the father of her third child. When she said that it could only be Stephen’s, his step-mother said that they never liked her and she never fit into their family. Nonetheless, Jane and Stephen were married for 30 years and had 3 beautiful children together. When asked what made him want to continue living after he was diagnosed, Stephen said that Jane was one of the main reasons, she was his muse, his friend, his love. Falling in love gave him something to live for.

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt had a very rocky start of their relationship. They met while filming “Mr. and Mrs. Smith”, while Brad was still married to Jennifer Aniston. A lot of people were against this romance, and still quite a few people are mad about it now. There will always be people on Jennifer’s side. But what can you do? Nothing can stand in the way of love. By 2005 Brad and Jennifer split up, and everyone suspected that Brad and Angelina were dating. They tried to keep their relationship a secret, and didn’t go public for a while. However, the truth came out eventually when we saw pictures of Brad and Angelina together with her son Maddox. Have you been trying to lose weight? Tried dozens of diets but none of them seem to be working? Resolved to only eat healthy, gluten-free, fat-free, organic foods but still not losing weight? We’ve all been there. It sounds like you might be the victim of diet mistakes.
In our search for the perfect diet we tend to overlook some simple things that are standing in our way to achieving the body of our dreams.
Lets go through a list and see what dieting mistakes we might be making.

1. Skipping meals  

A lot of people decide to skip breakfast altogether due to a lack of time in the morning or opt for having one on the go. Research has proven that people who don’t eat in the morning tend to eat more during the day. Overcompensating for a skipped meal is a bad idea, as you’ll feel hungrier and will consume more calories than you actually need. Skipping a meal in hopes of saving up calories you’re actually making your body crave more than it needs and therefore overeating later, and that definitely won’t help you lose weight, you might actually gain some.
Having a coffee and a muffin on the go might seem like a way out for those who don’t want to cook in the morning. You might think :“Well, at least i had some food, that’s better than skipping meals”. But we forget that drinks contain lots of calories too and pastries, no matter how big or small are packed with calories. For example, a favourite autumn drink at Starbuck’s – pumpkin spice latte – is 300 calories. And a blueberry muffin from the same place contains shocking 500 calories! No wonder we’re not losing weight if we’re having half our daily calories just as a quick snack in the morning.
So keep that in mind next time you think of skipping breakfast or having one on the go.

2. Portion control

If you’re a person who tends to eat in cafes and restaurants a lot or order takeout on a regular basis you might be used to the portion sizes that those establishments offer. However, that doesn’t mean those potions are normal. Restaurants tend to have large portions, and being used to that you might be eating large portions of food at home without even realizing it. And this includes not only fatty foods, but also salads. You might think that having a “healthy” salad in a restaurant is better than having a burger, but when it comes to calories that is not always true. The so called “healthy” green salads in restaurants often have toppings like cheese or croutons or heavy creamy dressings that surpass a portion of fries in terms of calories. In order to avoid confusion try ordering a salad with dressing on the side, that way you can decide how much dressing you need and control your calorie intake.

3. Drinking your calories

It’s a good idea to just stay away from alcohol when you’re on a diet. You might think it’s just a drink “what’s the harm in drinking 1 glass of wine or 1 cocktail?” Alcohol contains more calories per gram than proteins or even carbohydrates. So just think about how many empty calories you’re consuming when drinking. Plus, alcohol won’t make you feel full, so there’s a chance you’ll drink more that you could ever eat. If you’ve been good at staying on a diet prior to going out for drinks you might find yourself getting drunk quicker, and when you’re drunk you won’t care if you have a bunch of snacks that you would otherwise not have. Alcohol will weaken your resolve for staying on a diet and you might just find yourself thinking that you’ll start again tomorrow. Which will inevitably be followed by some hangover food like pizza or burgers the next day. So really, alcohol is your worst enemy when you’re on a diet.

4. Wolfing down your food

In this day and age everyone’s busy and rushing to go somewhere all the time, which leads to us eating on the go, or wolfing down our food really quickly in between or other daily activities. It’s rare that we get a chance to actually sit down for a long meal. By eating quickly we tend to overeat. Our bodies need time to understand that we’ve had enough food, it doesn’t happen immediately. We challenge ourselves by trying to fit in many activities and chores into our daily schedule, but try and set aside time for food. Next time you have a meal, perhaps set a timer for 20 minutes and make your meal last that long. Take smaller bites, chew longer, try to enjoy every single bite and properly taste your food. You’ll find that you’ll feel full after 20 minutes and you’ll eat a smaller portion.

5. Don’t eat in front of the TV

We’ve been conditioned by the media that it’s always a good idea to keep snacks close by when watching a movie, be it at home or in the cinema. The problem is, that when you’re watching a movie or a video on your laptop you focus more on what’s happening on screen than on how much food you’re having. How many times have you found yourself having a huge bag of chips or popcorn that you think will last you the whole film, only to realize it’s empty and you’re not even half way into the movie? And you have absolutely no recollection of eating the whole thing. Next time, instead of going for a snack, opt for a cup of tea, or a glass of water. It’ll give you smth to do and will keep you hydrated without any extra calories.

The January 2014 arrest: Justin was arrested for drag racing and suspicion of DUI, and his smiley mug shot quickly went viral.

After apparently being dumped via text message by Russell Brand, Katy Perry attempted to slightly revamp her image and talked about releasing more adult-sounding music that was clearly about the end of the relationship. When it didn’t sell as well, she went back to her old bubblegum sound. Also, Russell Brand tweeted this photo of Katy Perry just waking up, which royally pissed her off.

Everyone knows everything about every single break up Taylor Swift has ever been through. It’s basically how she’s built a career, by getting dumped and then singing about it.

After a couple has had their private sex tape become one of the most successful videos in the country, it’s hard to maintain a marriage. This break up took a dirty turn when the couple publicly revealed that Tommy Lee gave her Hepatitus.

Ah, good old Nick Lachey and Jessica Simpson. I guess you could say it’s a public breakup when your relationship is the subject of its own reality show. While they didn’t get divorced on the show, the divorce was clearly not a surprise for fans of the show, who saw a lot of Lachey’s eyerolling at Simpson’s antics.

Another reality series relationship that ended, this one got weird. Hulk Hogan’s ex-wife, Linda Hogan, started dating a very young man who was classmates her son, Nick Hogan. Hulk Hogan made some weird comments about it to the public, then he started dating one of his daughter’s friends. Super weird and kind of gross.
