Born August 6, 1992, Haley Kalil is a former beauty pageant title-holder as well as a model. She is from Excelsior, Minnesota and attended the St. Cloud State University in St. Cloud, Minnesota. There she graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in medical biology and psychology. She even has a minor in chemistry.
She began participating in pageantry from the age of 16. Haley Kalil first competed in Miss Minnesota Teen USA 2009, where she was the third runner-up. In the following year, she returned to the competition. This time she was crowned Miss Minnesota Teen USA 2010. By winning this crown, she got an opportunity to represent Minnesota at the Miss Teen USA 2010 competition. The pageant was taking place in Atlantis Paradise Island in Paradise Island, Bahamas, but she choose not to participate.
When she was in her senior in college, she decided to compete in the Miss Minnesota USA 2014, which was in Burnsville, Minnesota. She again got a chance to represent Minnesota at Miss USA 2014 and this time she participated. Though she did not win, she was in the top 20. After completing her time as Miss Minnesota USA, she crowned her successor and retired from pageantry altogether.
Haley Kalil then shifted her focus on modelling and in 2017, went for the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue SwimSearch open casting. She was initially in top 35 but soon moved to top 15. As one of the top 15, she got the model in Miami. Here she debuted Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Swim and Active apparel lines. In 2018, she became the top six and later it was announced that she was one of the two winners. She is set to appear as a rookie model in 2019’s edition of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue.
