Born as Jessica Cediel Eliana Silva in Bogota, Colombia on 4th April 1982, she is a journalist, model and presenter of television Colombian renowned for presenting programs Good Morning, Estilo RCN and our week, our tele, of RCN Television. From 2014 until November 22, 2016, she was a part of the Univision presenters panel and made a comeback to Colombia to present Yo Me Llamo de Caraccol Television. She studied Social Communication and Journalism at the University of La Sabana. In the year 2002, before she finished her studies, she took part in the Senorita Bogota contest, which was judged by the representative of the Colombian capital to the National Beauty Reign, and Jessica was left as viceroy of the capital. Her participation in the capital’s reign gave her opportunities to work in Colombian TV. She started working in the media as an advertising model for TV commercials and magazines. In July 2007, she joined Channel RCN as the host of Muy Beunos Dias, presently conducted by Laura Acuna, Jola Mario Valencia, Milena Lopez and Adriana Betancur. She also appeared as the model presenter of RCN Style. In November of that year, it was reported that Jessica faced health issues due to an aesthetic procedures performed by surgeon Martin Carrillo. In March 2012, she initiated legal actions against Carrillo and demanded a compensation of 400 million pesos.
In June 2014, she relocated to Miami, to join El Gordo and La Flaca de Univision, as the entertainment presenter. She also used to appear on Sal y Pimienta on the same network.
