Born as Nathalie Kelley, she is an Australian actress born in Peru and renowned for playing the role of Neela in the action film The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift (2006), and for her appearances in various TV series like Body of Proof (2011-2012) Unreal, The Vampire Diaries and Dynasty. Nathalie Kelley was born in Lima, Peru to a Peruvian mother and Argentine father, but, she moved to Sydney at the age of two. From her childhood time itself, she had wanted to become an actress. She studied at North Sydney Girls High School.
The executive producers of Charmed, Brad Kern, Aaron Spelling and E. Duke Vincent created a one-hour pilot for The WB, titled Mermaid in 2005. Kelley was cast as Nikki, a mermaid who was rescued by a young man after she washed ashore in Miami. The show was eventually cast in shows like Lone Star and CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.
Kelley’s big break came in June 2006 when she was cast as Neela in The Fast and The Furious: Tokyo Drift, the third film of the franchise. In March 2008, Kelley was cast in a low budget drama crime film Loaded alongside Jesse Metcalfe. In March 2011, she was seen in a retro comedy film Take Me Home Tonight starring Topher Grace, Anna Faris and Teresa Palmer. The movie was shot in Los Angeles in 2007, but, Universal delayed its release for unknown reasons. Kelley played the lead role in a low-budget horror film Urban Explorer which was about a group of four urban explorers who discover an underground world beneath Berlin.
In the year 2010, Kelley appeared as the love interest in a music video for the Bruno Mars song, “Just the Way You Are.” In August 2011, Kelley signed a major recurring role in the ABC crime drama Body of Proof. She was seen as a vampire princess in the video clip, “Luna Llena” from a Puerto Rican reggaeton duo Baby Pasta & Gringo. She also landed a regular role in the Lifetime series Unreal in 2014. From 2016 to 2017, she was seen as Sybil in the final season of The CW TV series The Vampire Diaries.
Kelley was dating Jordan “Jordy” Burrows in 2018 and she got married to him on 29 April 2018.
