Kristen Melissa Ledlow was born in 1988 in Tallahassee, Florida. Her family raised her with a deep Christian upbringing. Throughout her school years, she studied in a Christian community school.
As a teen, Ledlow became a member of her school’s basketball and volleyball women’s teams. She later majored in broadcasting and communications at Southeastern University. Her love for journalism and sports led her to balance her interests in life.
In her free time, she played volleyball and appeared as lead announcer for sports events. She also produced sports segments for Southeastern’s local TV network.
In her senior year, Ledlow tried her luck by joining beauty contests. She later won as Miss Capital City USA and finished third as Miss Florida USA.
After college, Ledlow pursued her career as a sports announcer. As a rising media personality, she took several gigs. She worked as a WTXL-TV anchor, host, and writer for the Tallahassee Quarterback Club.
She also appeared as a radio anchor at ESPN Tallahassee, where she soon became a sideline reporter at football games in Florida.
