Born as Aly Mang in New York, United States, she is a versatile artist, a SAG-AFTRA Actress, and an award winning writer/director/producer/moviemaker and a registered and published singer/songwriter with BMI.
Aly is represented by Take 3 Talent Agency and Center Stage Management, New York City. Aly was five when she started her formal training in acting, singing and dancing. She attended classes at Weist Barron Studios and Lee Straserg Actor’s Studio in New York City. Aly’s training got her roles in school productions such as Lucy in “Jekyll & Hyde” and Alice in “Alice In Wonderland”. She also performed at The NJ State Theater, The Paper Mill Playhouse. For a couple of years, Aly attended The Paper Mill Playhouse Musical Theater, The Paper Mill Playhouse. She attended Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts and graduated with Magna Cum Laude Honors and did a dual major in Business Administration. Upon her graduation she worked at a Goldman Sachs and was fast-tracked to an Associate level in Prime Bookerage during her four years there, but, she gave in to her artistic craving and left the job to pursue acting career.
Aly worked with Playwright, director and founder of The Rattlestick Theater, David Van Asselt on various original plays workshops. She was cast in various blockbuster and hit series such as John Wick 2, The Get Down, Younger, Vinyl, The Night Before and HBO’s The Deuce.
She wrote, directed and produced her first short film Roaring Tides which has been in official section in 2018 in the Chelsea Film Festival, Long Beach International Film Festival, Fort Myers Film Festival, Hoboken International Film Festival, NYC Chain Film Festival and as a “Semi-Finalist” at the Latin NY Film Festival. She was awarded “Best New Director” by the NYC Chain Film Festival.
Aly is also the lead model for the NYC based fashion line “Hailey Lyn” for Nordstom and has done print and commercials for various major fashion brands like Rebecca Taylor,Jovani, Sherri Hill, Ellie Wilde and Hilton Hotels.
Apart from acting, Aly also works on the humanitarian causes. She is a Board Certified Holistic Health Coach and the Founder and Owner of Holistic Health Coaching Business and Blog “The Balanced Beauty LLC.
