Born as Alice Tatichhi on June 25, 1990 in Perugia, Umbria, Italy, she is an Italian fashion model, beauty pageant contestant and the winner of the cycle four of Italia’s Next Top Model. She comes from an upper middle-class family and wanted to become a model right from her teenage years. Therefore, her father’s initial objections notwithstanding, she started participating in beauty pageants to launch a modelling career. She won a number of pageants and represented her country Italy at Miss World 2009. The numerous successes made her self-confident and she overcame the shyness she had due to her height. She also happens to be a former volleyball player and playing piano is among her hobbies.
Right from the start of Italia’s Next Top Model, Taticchi was remarkable as a disciplined contestant and a refined girl. While she was not among the original 12 contestants selected by a vote of viewers, she received a wildcard by the judges to join as the 13th finalist. During the competition, she was repeatedly reminded that if she had to succeed as a model, she needed to tone her body. However, it was her refined behaviour, her down to earth and hard-working persona, her elegant posture and also her prowess on the catwalk as well as her overall consistency that always impressed the judges and she first made it to the final before eventually winning the show.
After she was selected as the Italian representative at the Miss World 2009, Taticchi started modelling locally. After she won the cycle 4 of Italia’s Next Top Model, she was represented by Fashion Model Management, Milan and has appeared on an editorial for Lancome on Grazia. She has walked at Alta Roma Alta Moda for top fashion designers such as Gattinoni, Abed Mahfouz, Jamal Taslaq and Nino Lettieri. Alice has been featured on the Mercedes Benz 2012 Italian calendar and modelled for Vetrine Magazine. She has done campaigns, catalogues, photoshoots and fashion shows for names like Moraiolo-Prenatal, More by Siste’s, Familglia Cristiana, Carlo Bay Hair, L’Oreal Hair and Elsa Sposi.
