Jade Thirlwall began vocalizing at the age of just six. At that time, she used to participate in singing competitions. At the age of 16, she started performing in clubs and pubs. In the year 2008, Thirlwall gave the audition for ‘The X Factor’ but was eliminated at the Bootcamp stage for lacking confidence. She again gave the audition for the competition in 2010 and unfortunately, this time too, got rejected. However, she didn’t lose hope and auditioned again in 2011. This time, she failed to impress the judges with her solo performance and was paired with Leigh-Anne Pinnock and one more girl in the group Orion.
