Born as Maria Gabriela Espino Rugero on November 15, 1976, she is a Venezuelan actress, model, and presenter renowned as Gaby Espino. She is famous for her work in telenovelas.
Gaby was born in Caracas, Venezuela and is the daughter of a chemical engineer and a publicist. Her parents separated when she was quite young. She is the oldest among five children including a sister named Andreina, two paternal half-brothers named Gustavo and Mariano and a maternal half-sister, Nelly.
She has always been fascinated by animals and once she had plans to become a veterinarian. She however, later decided to study dentistry. She again had a change of mind and started studying public relations before finally deciding to become an actress.
Gaby Espino married Venezuelan actor Cristobal Lander on June 14, 2007. On July 9, 2008, they had their first child, a daughter named Oriana Lander.
During the filming of Mas Sabe el Diablo in the year 2009, Espino was romantically linked to her co-star, Jencarlos Canela. In the early 2010, they separated and it was reported that the separation was due to their relationship, but, they both denied it saying they were merely friends.
Espino patched up with Lander in November 2010 and they later divorced in March 2011.
In September 2011, Canela and Espino appeared on a live chat on Twitter where they admitted to their relationship and declared that they were also expecting their first child together. Their child’s godparents are Cristina Saralegui and Pitbull. Espino’s son named Nickolas Canela Espino was born on February 12, 2012. On August 26, 2014, Canela and Espino mentioned on their official Facebook page that they had decided to end their relationship.
