Who is Elizabeth Debicki? She is an Australian actress. She was born on 24th August 1990 in Paris, to a Polish father and an Australian mother of Irish descent, who were both dancers. When she was five, the family shifted to Melbourne, where she grew up with two younger siblings. She became enthusiastic in ballet at an early age and equipped as a dancer until deciding to switch to theatre. A student at Huntingtower School in Melbourne’s east, Debicki achieved two perfect study scores in Drama and English and was the school’s dux when she graduated in 2007.
In the year 2010, she completed a degree in drama at the University of Melbourne’s Victorian College of the Arts. In the year 2009, August, she was the recipient of a Richard Pratt Bursary for outstanding acting students in their additional year of training.
After making her characteristic film debut in Australian marriage comedy A Few Best Men, she occurred in The Grea Gatsby, for which she achieved an AACTA Award for Best Actress in a Supporting Role. She also featured in the Sydney Theatre Company’s production of The Maids, for which she earned a nomination for Best Female Actor in a Supporting Role in a Play at the 14th Helpmann Awards. Later, she went on to play supporting roles in The Man from U.N.C.L.E., Macbeth, The Night Manager, Everest, and Peter Rabbit, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.2, Widows, and Tenet.
