Terrina Chrishell Hartley was born on July 21, 1981 and is an American actress renowned as Chrishell Stause. She is famous for playing the roles of Amanda Dillon on All My Children and Jordan Ridgeway on Days of Our Lives on the small screen.
Stause was born in Draffenville, Kentucky and she attended the Murray State University, from which she received her B.A. in Theater in the year 2003. She has Japanese, Spanish and other European roots. Her peculiar name is due to her day of birth when her mother went into labor at a Shell station, “Chris” the attended called for help, and she got named “Chrishell.”
Stause is famous for playing the role of Amanda Dillon in the ABC soap opera All My Children, a role that she started on May 4, 2005 when the character went back to Pine Valley after a five-year hiatus. The character of Amanda was earlier played by Alexis Manta. The soap was cancelled and it was taken off air on September 23, 2011, and later Stause played a guest-starring role in the second season of the Diana Delany series Body of Proof. She used to be a member of an improvisational troupe named The Groudlings in Los Angeles.
In April 2013, announcement was made about Stause joining the cast of NBC soap Days of Our Lives. Her character Jordan Ridgeway, was first seen in Salem on August 15, 2013. On October 24, 2014, it was declared that Stause was going to leave the series in 2015. In 2018, she was announced as returning to the show and she was again seen on the show in February 2019.
She also appeared as a guest actor on the ABC prime time soap drama titled Mistresses. In April 2016, she was announced as a cast member of The Young and The Restless as Bethany Bryant. She debuted in late March and her last appearance on the show was on August, 17, 2016.
In the year 2017, she bagged her first leading role on the big screen in the film titled Eve of Abduction. Other than being an actress, Hartley is also a real-estate agent. Stause had been engaged to Matthew Morrison from December 9, 2006 to 2007. In January 2014, it was revealed that Stause was dating Justin Hartley and in July 2016, they got engaged. Their wedding took place on October 28, 2017.
