35 Photos Show Pamela Anderson’s Transformation Over the Years

Unbelievably, Pam’s ascent to popularity started even before she made her breakthrough on Baywatch. In fact, “Teacher’s Pet,” a 1990 episode of Charles in Charge, is when she received her debut acting credit.


That was the same year Pam was also awarded with the February Playmate of the Month for Playboy magazine. In fact, as it stands, the blonde beauty holds the record for most individual Playboy covers.


By 1991, Pam’s stardom was on the rise and as a result, she ended up snagging a part on ABC’s Home Improvement (starring Tim Allen) for 23 episodes.

In addition to Home Improvement, Pam has appeared on The Nanny, Days of Our Lives, Married With Children and of course, Baywatch from 1992-1997.


Aside from Pam’s career, the Canada native was also making headlines because of her romantic relationships. ICYMI: She’s been married four times over the years.


Pam and Mötley Crüe member Tommy Lee got hitched in 1995 and stayed together for three years.


Their relationship was the definition of sex, drugs and rock and roll. That said, they did up having two beautiful children together.


Her eldest son Brandon Thomas Lee is now in his twenties and appeared on The Hills: New Beginnings. His brother, Dylan Jagger Lee is also in his twenties and is a musician.


As mentioned, Pam and Tommy officially divorced in 1998. Tommy has since gone on to marry social media influencer Brittany Furlan.


Despite calling it quits, Tommy and Pam attended the 1999 MTV VMAs together. These outfits may look familiar as Kim Kardashian and Jonathan Cheban’s 2018 Halloween costumes.


By 2000, Pam was pretty much already a pop culture icon. As a whole, though, that year was pretty calm for her. She appeared in a few music videos — but no films or TV.


As of 2001, Pam was still seemingly single. However, she did meet Kid Rock that year … which, as we all now know, would lead to a brief marriage from 2006 to 2007.


In 2002, Pamela’s recurring role as Vallery Irons on the series V.I.P came to an end. She was in over 88 episodes!


2003 was quite a year for Pam! She appeared in Scary Movie 3, Baywatch: Hawaiian Wedding, Pauly Shore Is Dead and an episode of Less Than Perfect.


Now that we’ve detailed Pam’s early career, it’s important that we take a moment to highlight her style.


Pam was never afraid to be sexy. She was constantly rocking short, tight clothing with high heels and big hair. Sure, men fawned over her, but more than that, she empowered women to embrace their own sexuality.


Alright, back to Pam’s career highlights! From 2005 to 2006 she landed a recurring role as Sklyer Dayton on the show Stacked.


In 2007, Pam costarred alongside Denise Richards — who is now on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills — in the movie Blonde and Blonder. It wasn’t necessarily a commercial success, but a lot of people consider it a cult classic.


In 2008, Pam annulled her very brief marriage to poker player Rick Salomon. However, the pair ended up getting married again in 2014. It only lasted a year.


By 2009, Pam had been in Hollywood for nearly two decades. While her career was definitely starting to slow down, she was still very much a household name.


In 2010, Pam appeared as herself in the film Costa Rican Summer, as well as in a short film called The Commuter.


It’s important to mention that in addition to acting and modeling, Pam has also been involved in a considerable amount of activist work since the ‘90s. In 1999 she won the Linda McCartney Memorial Award for animal rights protectors.


She also appeared in PETA’s popular “I’d Rather Go Naked Than Wear Fur” campaign in 2003, among countless other projects to protect animals.


Pam’s activist work didn’t stop there, though. She has also been a spokesperson for MAC Cosmetic’s MAC AIDS Fund and the American Liver Foundation.


Fun fact: Pam became a vegetarian early on in life before eventually committing to Veganism.


In 2015, Pam had a narration role in a documentary called Unity directed and produced by Shaun Monson. She was joined by several other celebrities including Selena Gomez, Adam Levine and Kristen Bell.


In 2016, Pamela starred in the drama/mystery The People Garden alongside Dree Hemingway and Jai West. It remains highly reviewed to this day.


2017 was a big comeback year for Pam! She appeared in six episodes of a miniseries called Sur-Vie, as well as playing C.J. Parker in the Baywatch movie remake.


Pam didn’t appear in any movies or television in 2018. However, she did become pretty active on Instagram. In case you don’t follow her, her entire aesthetic is black and white. Very classy!


In 2019, Pam popped up on The Hills: Reboot every now and again … looking as fantastic as ever!


In May 2020, Pamela posed for her own line of vegan handbags with French company Ashoka Paris.
