Born as Quay Dash on 17 September 1992 in Bronx, New York, is a renowned rapper, singer and songwriter American. The rapper Contessa Sluto spotted and inspired Quay Dash. She started her musical career in October 2013, and her first single “Satans Angel” was released with the support from the independent label CuntMafia. After a number of singles, on September 17, 2016, Quay Dash came out with their first debut EP called “Trasphobic.”


Quay Dash was born and raised in Bronx, New York. During their teenage, Quay Dash received education at Ramapo Senior High School in the 2010 class. Quay Dash then studied Fashion Marketing at Berkeley College. In the year 2013, the rapper Contessa Stuto (who had also previously discovered Azealia Banks), discovered Quay and brought it to her independent label CuntMafia. Quay’s first single was Satan’s Angel which was produced by JX Cannon. Quay appeared in a music video “Reign in Ratchel.” Between 2014 and 2015, Quay Dash released various singles such as “BKLN”, “Is Not Gon’ Stop It”, “New York Boom Bap,” “Pop Triggaz”, “Off The Books” and “You Make Me Crazy.” It also participated in Cakes Da Killa’s “Do That Baby”. On August 16, 2016, Quay joined the producers Celstial Trax and Orlando Volcano to feature on the album, “Thru Our Eyes Pt. 1” which had the track “Willin” composed by the same. On September 24, which also happened to be Quay’s 24th birthday, the rapper released their debut EP “Transphobic.”

Quay mentioned in an interview that being a transsexual artist, it is not easy to get any kind of support from producers and sound engineers. However, Quay also added, “My fans are what they mean most to me and I want to continue making songs for them because they are the ones that keeps me motivated to continue.”

The rapper’s goal is to convey her life experiences and to continue supporting the LGBT community through her songs.
