Park So-dam is an internationally acclaimed South Korean actress mostly known for her performance in the movie “The Priests” (2015), and “Parasite” (2019). Park’s talent in acting remained unrecognized until she was given a chance in the independent film industry. There she did her first role in the movie Ingtoogi: Battle of the internet Trolls and then the indie Steel Cold Winter.
After doing some independent movies, she got her first chance in the commercial genre of Korean cinema. Her debut film was “The Silenced” (2015). Not only did the movie win the Palme d’Or at the Cannes Film Festival but also the movie won the Best International feature film in Oscar. She has been nominated for multiple awards for her performances throughout her entire career. There is no doubt that this talented actress will continue to reign in Korean cinemas for a long time.
