The past few years have been, well, a roller coaster for Justin Bieber, so ahead of his Comedy Central roast next month, we’re looking back on some of the moments that may become fodder for the big night. Last month, Justin appeared on Ellen DeGeneres’s show to explain why he wants to get roasted so badly, saying, “I’ve done some things that might not have been the greatest . . . It’s just cool to be able to laugh at yourself.” Since then, it’s been announced that Kevin Hart will host the roast, which will be taped on March 14 before airing on March 30. In the meantime, prepare for all the jokes with a look at some of the memorable Justin moments the roasters might mention, including everything from those Calvin Klein ads to his recent apology video.

The many shirtless selfies: Because there are just so many.
The racist joke: After video was released of a young Justin telling a racist joke, the singer issued a formal apology, saying, “As a kid, I didn’t understand the power of certain words and how they can hurt. I thought it was okay to repeat hurtful words and jokes, but didn’t realize at the time that it wasn’t funny and that in fact my actions were continuing the ignorance.”
