Today, our featured makeup tutorial will teach you how to do the ultimate smokey eye using kohl. While this smokey eye is more rock and roll than sophisticated chic, it’s a fun look we’re sure you’ll love trying.

Step 1

First mix your kohl powder with castor oil. After doing this, use a thick stick as an applicator and apply on your waterline the same way you would apply normal eyeliner.

Also apply it on the upper lash line and inner waterline.

Pro Tip: If your kohl mixture feels dry, slowly add water until it’s a consistency you can work with.

Step 2

If you’re having a hard time getting the perfect lines, use an eyeliner brush for application.

Step 3

Thicken the line with an eyeshadow brush.

Step 4

If you want more color in your smokey eyes, use a modern kohl powder and apply with an eyeshadow brush.

Step 5

Use the traditional kohl as your mascara and apply on the roots of the upper eyelashes. There’s no need to apply this on the bottom.

Step 6

Finish off with modern mascara to get those lashes looking full and thick.

24% of Americans hook up with a coworker at the holiday party. Here’s the best way to get it on.

‘Tis the season to get it on with people you shouldn’t. Why? Well, when you take alcohol, holiday parties and a bunch of people who work together you’re, absolutely, positively, just begging for disaster. It’s science, really.

As we covered a couple weeks ago, people are getting it on (or at least fantasizing about it) at the office even without the holiday spirit pumping through their somewhat drunken veins. If that’s the case all year round, the holidays bring out the sexy times even more.

According to a national survey conducted by Trojan and Harris Interactive, 24 percent of Americans have taken the opportunity of a holiday party to hookup (either during or immediately afterward) with a coworker, with 42 percent being guys and 27 percent being ladies between the ages of 18 and 34. In fact, the top three festivities for holiday hookups can be attributed to New Year’s, Christmas and workplace parties, respectively.

So, if you’re planning to seduce that guy from the graphic design department this holiday, where should you do it? Honestly, no place is off limits if you’re creative and limber enough.
