In the largest relationship survey ever conducted, researchers asked couples to rate their happiness and satisfaction in bed. Then they dug deep to find out what the happiest couples have in common. The research, released in the New York Times bestseller The Normal Bar, is a fantastic guide to what makes happy couples tick.

Paris shows off one of her best secrets here. Be fearless! The rainbow striped eye shadow and deep blue liner are not only fun, they’re surprisingly flattering. Paris loves the saturated colors of a good quality shadow. Start off with a blue eyeliner and black mascara. Then sweep three colors at an angle to make perfectly posh stripes. If you want to go the extra mile, get yourself some ultra shiny lipgloss. It’s one of her favorite beauty products.

Summer Nights
Paris keeps it bright and shiny even in full on, sweaty music festival chaos. She uses a powder blush to accentuate her famous cheekbones. And a thick concealer helps to take care of any nasty dark circles under her baby blues. She also swears by laser treatments to keep her skin looking plump. You really do need great skin to pull off this look. We love her ridiculously long lashes and glittering lids. And you’ll seldom find her without those glassy lips.

Matte-Libs
An eye needn’t always sparkle to be glamorous. Take away the shine and give Paris Hilton’s barely smokey makeup a go. A generous sweep of matte shadow creates the setting. Then a darker shadow is swept back and forth just under the brow bone. This time she takes care not to darken the bottom of her eye too much. Paris makes use of a thin black rim over her top lashes. She extends it to the end of her eye and no further. It’s a great way to adapt the look of a smokey eye to the day, or any time you’d prefer a more understated stare (while still drawing stares).

Barbie Doll
It’s funky. It’s classic. It’s cheesy. It’s chic. Paris Hilton knows just how to play up her Barbie doll features with thick winged eyeliner and pale pink lips. A good liquid liner is your best bet if you want to replicate the style. Paris likes to pare it up with a simple black mascara. Apparently, Paris likes drugstore makeup as much as the rest of us. Then it’s off to meet Ken with the perfect accessory: a light pink lipstick with a slightly blueish tint.

Bad Barbie
Think of this as Barbie gone wild. The same pale pink lips and winged eyeliner are transformed with a few simple tricks. Her false lashes provide the perfect flirty flutter. A smudge tool will help turn that thick bold eyeliner into a smokier version. You can use the residue that’s left on the smudger to add a gentle smear of black to the lower lash line. Don’t forget to line the inner rims of your eyes also. Be careful, though! Barbie needs both eyes to drive the convertible.

Orange Twist
Paris Hilton is a knock-out in coral lipstick. It’s not all about the perfect shade of orange though. She insists on drinking loads of water to maintain a perfectly hydrated pout. And she’s insistent on getting plenty of rest, even with her jet set lifestyle. Yeah, we know; not exactly unheard of advice. But lady Hilton is living proof of it. And once you’ve given your body the star treatment; you’re ready to rock this classic Hollywood glamour with a twist. Try a bright coral lipstick that is somewhat matte. Make sure your lips are in tip top condition though!

Purple Princess
A flush of sparkling lavender and sumptuous nude lips: What more could a media darling ask for? The gorgeous look is a mixture of sweet and seductive. Little miss Blue Eyes begins with white eyeshadow over her lids. Then she applies a grey-toned lavender along the bottom of her eye and upper creases. Paris uses black kohl eye pencil to offset the innocent look of light purple. And for that perfect complexion, she recommends using concealer and a light powder.

Golden Goddess
Our girl is throwing us some great inspiration in the form of awesome bronzer. It’s all about glowing skin on top of that famous dark eye. Her secret to pulling off this golden style is starting off with well cared for skin. Having great genetics probably doesn’t hurt either. Paris recommends consistent use of cleansers and toners. She’s also up for a laser treatment every now and then. Now that you’re nice and scrubbed up (and possibly laser zapped), end with a light dusting of bronzer over the apples of your cheeks, extending towards the forehead.

Classic Hollywood
This is one of Ms. Hilton’s favorite looks. She uses a color pallet that’s simple, basic, but never boring. Once again we see Paris working one of her beauty staples: eyeliner. Although she loves the allure of a smudged and smokey liner, she takes care to keep it crisp and delicate. It makes for one classy look. And as always, what’s a celebutante without some awesome lip color? Look for something slightly glossy, in a neutral shade. And if you’re going for some real authentic Paris inspiration, go all out with a thick set of false lashes.

Punch Eye
A black eye doesn’t usually look too hot. But Paris pulls of two! We’ve tried this ourselves and it’s definitely worth a shot. Smudge a layer of dark purple over some black liner. Make sure to trace around your entire eye. We love a smokey brown eye shadow palette for this. Keep the rest of your face looking fresh and clean to avoid an overly goth look.

Almost Au Natural
We love the subtlety of Paris’ almost bare beauty. To give this style its best shot, make sure your skin is in tip top condition. We like a purifying exfoliator to get that perfect canvas. Then all it takes is a glimmering white eyeshadow applied under the eyebrow and near the tear duct. Use a firm, dark brown eye pencil to (very!) lightly line the outside corners of your eyes. A clear gloss finishes it off perfectly.

Raccoon Eyes Done Right
Paris is famous for her piercing blue eyes. We love how she plays them up with bold black eyeliner. It can be a hard look to pull off but we say go for it. Start out with a shimmery neutral eyeshadow on your lids. Next, you will need to apply a bold black eyeliner to both your upper and lower lash lines. Don’t be shy! Make sure to wing the top liner up and out. Then just finish with a classic red lipstick, black mascara, and you’re good to go!

Sweet and Simple
“I believe that happy girls are the prettiest girls”, so said one of the great beauties, Audrey Hepburn. Looking at Paris’ gleaming smile, we can see why. We love the smoldering makeup she is so well known for. But there’s something great about this rosy look on such a controversial celeb. She uses a toned down version of her smokey eye and adds in a slightly more saturated lip gloss. Paris loves lip gloss, probably more than her own privacy. Another thing Paris loves? Her blue colored contacts, of course. But with that smile, we couldn’t care less.

No Sweat
Paris rocks it in this photo-shoot. The golden version of a smokey eye makes it a great look to use during long hot summer days. We’ve all been there. You start out looking fresh and inevitably end up with your face melting away. There it goes! But, a little smeared mascara only adds to this sultry look. And the glossy red lip compliments a dewy complexion. Ok, it’s sweaty. We’ll just call it dewy. If you’re up for trying it out, we recommend a light gold and bronze eyeshadow for this style.

Makeup remover wipes are expensive, but they don’t have to be. These DIY wipes are easy to make and super gentle on your face.

First, gather your supplies. You’ll need:
Utility Knife
Paper Towel Roll
Container With A Lid That Holds At Least 1 Quart
Quart of warm water
Bowl
1 to 2 Tablespoons of Coconut Oil
1 to 2 Squirts of Face Wash

First mix the water, face wash and coconut oil in the bowl. Set it aside.

Cut the paper towel roll in half.

Take the lid off of the container and put half of the roll in.

Pour the solution from the bowl into the container.

Cut an “x” in the lid of the container.

Pull the wet core out of the roll of the paper towels.

Pull the top corner of the innermost paper towel through the “x” you cut in the lid.

Now use your makeup remover wipes!
