The Hermes Birkin gold crocodile bag tops our list as one of the most expensive bags ever designed. This luxurious handbag is worth….wait for it… 1.9 million. The bag, fit for a queen, is made from both gold and diamonds.

This bag looks unassuming at first glance but the price tag tells a different story. The straps resemble that of a belt buckle and the wide opening make for easy access to the contents we typically keep in a purse. Rhianna has been known to carry this purse around.

Feel like the Queen of Egypt when you carry around Lana Mark’s Cleopatra Bag worth $250,000. Only one of these purses is created every year by Lana Mark’s. One actress is selected each year to carry Mark’s designs to the red carpet.

The famous Italian designer did it again. He created the most well, um, interesting purse we’ve seen yet. You’d think the handbag isn’t worth much because of the contents of the design including cigarettes, tea bags and old candy wrappers. Ok, now for the price, $150,000.

We couldn’t round out a collection of the world’s most expensive purses without adding one from the well-known icon, Prada. The tasteful black bag is worth a whopping $15,090. Maybe we’ll stick to a pair of shoes instead…
