Is your glitter not quite as eye catching as the holographic stuff you see above, but you still want to make your look as attention grabbing as possible? We love their silver and pink combination, but you could recreate the look in any colours you choose!

6. Glitter lined eyeliner

Are you intent on using glitter in your look but you’d actually prefer to keep it just a touch more subtle than some of the fully sparkled lids you’ve seen so far? Then consider just following the shape of your eyeliner with a neat stream of complementing glitter, just like Society 19 did here! We love the balance created by doing a bit of glitter in both the inner and outer corners.

Are you browsing these looks and discovering that a few of them are almost what you’re looking for but not quite? We’ve talked a lot about glitter eye makeup so far (and we’re sure you don’t blame us), but your eyes certainly aren’t the only place where you can incorporate glitter into your beauty routine! You could let these two features stand out by doing a matte smoky eye alongside, or you could get completely wild and combine this look with the holographic glitter lids we talked about at the beginning of this list.

This look from Polyvore is one more for your arsenal of green-friendly eye makeup techniques, particularly since the gold glitter crease will bring out any secret flecks or yellow or hazel you have hiding within your bright green irises. You sure won’t have to worry about people looking you directly in the eye, because that’s all people will be able to concentrate on all night!

13. Black with pink glitter centre

A dark black smoky eye is always fun, but sometimes it’s nice to add a little something to a classic look, just to shake things up a big. We love altering our smoky eye looks by putting a shock of colour right in the centre of our lid to really grab peoples’ attention! Pretty Designs agrees with our strategy but instead of just using a brightly coloured shadow, they’ve added a hot pink glitter on top as well! Pair it with a matching bright pink lip and voila- you’ll look stunning.

14. Black glitter wing

Have you fallen in love with the idea of using black glitter, but you’d rather get a little more avant garde with it than just smearing it all over your lids? Then use it in a more defined way by over-lining your black winged liner with a layer of black sparkle.
